Each player in turn signals how they want to play their hand, using the choices explained in the next section. The suits of the cards have no meaning in blackjack.

Receiving a 7 or higher when you hit will put you in frame to win the hand. You might land another 10 and a 9 on your two hands, non gamstop which would give you a good chance of winning big. Because of this, counting cards is less useful across rounds, but it still makes sense to observe face up cards during the same round, especially if only one deck is used.

Avoid these mistakes, and you’ll make more consistent decisions from hand to hand, helping you get more value from each session.
